INDIVIDUAL AND UNIQUE HANDPRINT AND FOOTPRINT JEWELLERY AND GIFTWARE ......These items incorporate the unique handprint or footprint of your loved ones on pure silver charms, pendants and cufflinks.

This section lists a few of the items in the handprint/footprint jewellery range.  Further combinations and options are listed in the For Him and For Her sections. 

THE PROCESS
If you already have hand or footprints of your loved one, you may email a jpeg or mail us a photocopy of them and we can transfer these onto your selected pieces.  These may be prints that you have saved in your baby book from years ago and wish to use, or it may be those that were taken at the hospital by midwives in memoriam. Just place your order as normal and when you checkout, there will be an option for postage that takes into account we don't need to mail you a kit - just choose this and email your prints to us with your order reference number. 

If you don't have prints, or wish to take new ones, we will send you a special print-taking kit, which will allow you to take prints without fuss or mess!  The kit is safe to use on babies and is ink-free.  You may scan and email the prints to us, or mail them back in the enveloped provided.  When you checkout, the default postage charge will include the cost of mailing you the kit, so just check that you select it correctly.

We have also been asked to do paw-prints and this works exactly the same way! You can have a charm made up for yourself using the paw-print of your pet - we have made up Pandora-style beads with paw-prints and regular flat charms. 

SHAPES AND OPTIONS

We have a selection of shapes and fittings you may choose from, so that you can easily attach your piece to a bracelet or necklace of your own. Alternatively choose a complete necklace or bracelet from our collections - if you need additional charms for several children, just select these and we will attach them to your chosen piece for you.

The charms and pendants are made from pure silver (999) and are antiqued to show up the fine detail in the print and the personalisation that you choose to have on the piece. Our pieces are approximately 2mm thick unless stated, allowing a deep impression and neat shape for your print.   We make and polish each piece by hand, resulting in a beautiful, shiny keepsake that you will cherish forever.

Double-sided pieces have prints either side and this costs extra.  Please note that personalisation on the back is included in the price of the charm.

Cufflinks can also be made up for you in a variety of shapes and styles. The pure silver discs incorporate the handprints or footprints of your baby or child and we can also personalise with a name and date.  These are soldered to sterling silver swivel post cufflink backs and presented in a dark blue cufflink box - a wonderful gift to give to a deserving daddy, godfather or grandfather.

HOW MUCH DETAIL WILL SHOW UP?
The images on our site will show a variety of hand and footprints - some with stronger and others with weaker detail.  Each print is unique, as we are, so no two will be the same.  You will normally be able to see the lines on the hand/footprints that you take and we will do our best to ensure that as many show up as possible.
